Houthi leader in Yemen, Abdel-Malik al-Houthi, announced that "the group's operations with the Islamic Resistance in Iraq against Israel will intensify." Earlier, the Houthis announced on Thursday the execution of joint operations with "the Islamic Resistance in Iraq" at Haifa Port. The group stated in a statement: "The Yemeni armed forces carried out two joint military operations with the Iraqi Islamic Resistance; the first targeted two ships carrying military equipment in Haifa Port." They added: "The second targeted a ship that violated the entry ban to Haifa Port in occupied Palestine. Both operations were carried out with several drones, and the strikes were accurate by God's help."
The statement noted that "the joint operation at Haifa Port is in response to the atrocities of the Israeli enemy in the Rafah area, and the Israeli enemy should expect more qualitative joint operations in the upcoming period until it stops its brutal and criminal aggression and lifts the siege on our brothers in the Gaza Strip." In response, the Israeli army denied the Houthis' claims that they attacked ships at Haifa Port in northern Israel with an Iraqi armed group. Army spokesman Peter Lerner stated: "This is not true."
