Canada Urges Its Citizens to Leave Lebanon Due to Unstable Situation

The Canadian Embassy in Lebanon issued a message to Canadians, permanent residents, and their immediate family members in Lebanon, stating that "the situation in Lebanon is unstable and unpredictable due to ongoing and recent events in Israel, the West Bank, and Gaza." It emphasized that "Canadians and permanent residents, along with their spouses and dependent children, should follow travel advice regarding Lebanon and leave where commercial flights are available." The statement noted, "Our focus is on assisting Canadians and permanent residents in obtaining the necessary documents for travel and keeping families together. We continue to monitor the situation in collaboration with our partners."
