The Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Ali Khamenei, stated today, Sunday, that "the number of missiles fired towards Israel is a secondary issue," noting that "the most important thing is to demonstrate the capability of the Iranian armed forces internationally." Khamenei, during a meeting with military leaders, added that "thank God, the armed forces have shown a good image of their capabilities and authority, as well as a commendable image of the Iranian people, proving the strength of the Iranian people's will on the international stage." He said, "The number of missiles fired or that hit their target is a secondary issue; the most important thing is to demonstrate the capability of the people's will and our armed forces internationally." He pointed out that "our armed forces carried out the operation against the enemy entity at minimal cost and achieved significant successes with high precision," and emphasized that "the armed forces must not stop and should continue their work to innovate modern weapons and methods to confront the enemy." This comes after Iran launched hundreds of missiles and drones at Israel on April 13 in response to an attack on the Iranian consulate in Damascus.
