British Prime Minister: Reform in the Country Will Take Time

New British Prime Minister Keir Starmer announced that there are preparations and plans in place to manage the state. In his first press conference, Starmer stated, "Our policy is to prioritize the interest of the nation over the interest of the party," adding, "We must make tough decisions with integrity and transparency, and this does not mean that it is a prelude to imposing new taxes." Starmer noted that "reform in the country will take time," announcing, "We have buried the Rwanda plan for the deportation of refugees." He pointed out, "We will strengthen medical capacities across the country," emphasizing that "we will work hard to reduce child poverty." On a different note, Starmer said, "We will discuss shared international issues with our partners in Washington." It is worth mentioning that the Labour Party achieved a landslide victory in the parliamentary elections, ending 14 consecutive years of Conservative rule. The Labour Party secured 411 seats compared to 120 for the Conservatives, with the counting process completed. The party has secured more than 326 seats, which is more than the necessary number to achieve a majority and form the next British government independently.
