The Ministry of Culture, Tourism, and Antiquities announced today, Saturday, the launch of the Third Iraqi Travel Market Exhibition in the capital Baghdad, with extensive local, Arab, and international participation. The ministry indicated that the exhibition will continue for two days.
According to a statement from the ministry, "Under the supervision, sponsorship, and participation of the Ministry of Culture, Tourism, and Antiquities, the Iraqi Tourism Board, and the Kurdistan Regional Tourism Board, the Third Iraqi Travel Market Exhibition has launched in the capital Baghdad, with extensive participation from local, Arab, and international companies in aviation, travel, tourism, hotels, and tourism reservation systems from various Iraqi governorates and the Kurdistan Region of Iraq."
The statement also mentioned the presence and participation of several ambassadors from Arab and foreign countries, experts, academics, and directors of specialized tourism and economic organizations from the private sector.
In turn, the media coordinator for the exhibition, Wissam Al-Hilu, confirmed that "the launch of the exhibition today represents a point of tourist connection in the field of internal and external exhibitions and enhances its role on the Arab and global levels, as we work to showcase Iraq as an important tourist destination in the Middle East and promote archaeological, cultural, and sacred tourism on the land of Mesopotamia." He noted that the exhibition has allocated promotional segments and programs to provide detailed explanations about the process of granting electronic visa facilitation for visitors to Iraq from Arabs and foreigners.
