To the stolen tune of the famous song "Bint Al Sultan," an Israeli singer appeared performing in front of a number of Israeli soldiers, wishing for the death of Hamas political leader Yahya Sinwar and all the people of Gaza.
A video clip of the Israeli singer named Rinat Bar was widely circulated on social media, showing her singing the melody of the most popular songs by Egyptian folk singer Ahmed Adawiya, but with new Hebrew lyrics. She stated before she began singing, "This is directed from all my heart. To you, Yahya Sinwar."
The lyrics of the song say, "Oh Yahya Sinwar, may you die tomorrow, along with Nasrallah and all of Gaza."
The video gained significant traction on social media, turning into a topic of satire regarding the singer's theft of a famous and old Arabic melody.
The song "Bint Al Sultan" was produced in 1969, with lyrics written by Hassan Abu Atman, composed by Ahmed Abu Saud, and performed by the famous Egyptian folk singer Ahmed Adawiya, along with many Arab stars, most notably Ragheb Alama.
Since the outbreak of the bloody war in Gaza, numerous songs advocating for the killing and extermination of Gaza's inhabitants have circulated, including a song sung by young Israeli children on the occasion of World Children's Day, which caused a major uproar after it was aired by the Israeli broadcasting agency, leading them to later delete it due to a widespread backlash in the country.
