Bahaa Rafik Hariri continued his meetings and gatherings in Beirut for the second consecutive day. He received this morning at his residence in the "Venice" hotel notable and influential figures from Beirut, in addition to delegations from trade unions, youth, and social groups from various areas and neighborhoods of the capital. He listened to the demands and political, social, and developmental concerns of his visitors, who called for him to maintain communication with the grassroots and implement developmental and vital projects in the capital. The delegations emphasized the need to restore the Sunni community's esteemed and recognized position through a strong Sunni leadership that preserves the community's rights. They also highlighted the necessity to reconsider the unjust electoral law against the Sunni community, which prevents fair and accurate representation. The discussions touched on the importance of creating jobs for Lebanese youth in general and Beirut youth in particular, as this could encourage the return of expatriate young people. For his part, Hariri confirmed his commitment to continuing the path of his father, the late President Rafik Hariri, and working towards achieving his project for the good and interest of Lebanon, particularly Beirut, through launching the "Masar" movement. He stressed the need to rebuild state institutions correctly and transparently, away from corruption and sectarian politics, and assured that he would do everything in his power to change the current situation. He emphasized the importance of working to create sustainable projects by relying on advanced mechanisms and automation, among other things.
