A member of the Central Council of "Hezbollah," Sheikh Nabih Qawq, emphasized that "as it was yesterday, today, and will be tomorrow, the final word for the resistance is in the field, and threats do not change the equations. Netanyahu, in despair, threatens Lebanon with his defeated army that bleeds daily from its strength and capabilities, which has reached its worst days, worse than in 2006. Meanwhile, the resistance in Lebanon is at the peak of its power, better than it was in 2006. Therefore, any expansion of the war in Lebanon means one result: the deepening and widening of the Israeli defeat and predicament."
During a commemorative ceremony held by Hezbollah for its martyr on the road to Jerusalem, Sadiq Muhammad Hashim, at the Husseiniya in the southern town of Rashkananiyeh, in the presence of the head of Hezbollah's first region in Jabal Amel, Abdullah Nasser, along with several scholars, dignitaries, and families of martyrs, as well as a large crowd of residents, he affirmed that "the resistance in the region, through its cooperation and integration, has surprised the American-Israeli axis." He pointed out that "the Americans thought that with their threats, they could provide full protection for the Israeli enemy, but the resistance in the region did not pay attention to American threats. Today, nearly four months into the war, its drones and missiles continue to launch from southern Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, and Yemen, completely disregarding all American threats."
He noted that "the resistance in the region, through its integration and cooperation, is close to achieving a historic and strategic victory, which will establish new equations and tighten the noose around the Israeli enemy." He stated: "The response of the resistance, from Yemen to Iraq to Lebanon and Syria, has once again proven the failure of all American policies in the region and has confirmed the failure of the normalization policy with the Israeli enemy, as well as the failure of the American project that aimed to provide protection and deterrence for the Israeli enemy."
He pointed out that "America has not been able to provide protection for Israeli ships in the Red Sea, nor could it prevent the resistance in Lebanon from fulfilling its duty to help Gaza, which is evidence of a decline in American prestige and influence in the region."
He concluded: "The decision to cut funding for UNRWA means American and Western participation in famine, genocide, and a humanitarian crime against the Palestinian people. It means a siege upon a siege, with the aim being that America and Western countries want to break the will of the Palestinian people who have heroically resisted starvation and the war of extermination."
