The Sudanese Ministry of Health announced today, Saturday, that the country is "infested" with cholera, following the registration of more than 300 deaths. Margaret Harris, an official from the World Health Organization, indicated yesterday, Friday, that "the humanitarian crisis resulting from the civil war in Sudan is exacerbating the spread of diseases including cholera, as the bacterial disease has caused the death of more than 300 people."
