Israeli Army Announces Death of Two Officers in Gaza Strip

Israeli media reported today, Tuesday, that two Israeli army officers were killed in battles in central Gaza on Monday night. The media stated that the army allowed the publication of the names of the deceased officers, who are from Battalion 121 of the Eighth Brigade. Channel 12 reported that reserve Major Nadav Hanan Noller, 30, from Jerusalem, and reserve Major Eyal Abniyon, 25, from Hod Hasharon, were killed in a battle in central Gaza. Reports indicated that the officers died due to the explosion of an explosive device on the Netzarim axis in central Gaza, noting that an investigation into the circumstances of the incident is underway. The Israeli army also announced on Monday night the death of one of its soldiers and the serious injury of another due to the explosion of an explosive device in Nur Shams camp in Tulkarm city in the northern occupied West Bank. According to the army's account, the two soldiers were inside an armored personnel carrier when a roadside bomb exploded in Tulkarm. It is noteworthy that since the beginning of the war, 674 soldiers of the Israeli army have been killed, including 320 since the start of ground operations in Gaza.
