Abu Rudeineh Responding to Netanyahu: The Palestinian People Alone Decide Who Governs Them

The spokesperson for the Palestinian president, Nabil Abu Rudeineh, confirmed that "the only solution to achieve security and stability in the Middle East is the establishment of an independent Palestinian state with East Jerusalem as its capital." He added in a press interview, responding to statements made by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu: "The Palestinian people, represented solely by the legitimate and single organization of the Palestine Liberation Organization, alone decide who governs them." Netanyahu had stated in his speech: "There should be a civilian administration in Gaza run by Palestinians who do not seek to destroy Israel."
