Swedish Defense Minister Paul Jonsson indicated that his country "delivered self-propelled artillery batteries, of the Swedish-made Archer type, to Ukraine." In a radio interview, Jonsson stated, "This is of course important for the Ukrainians, as the Archer system has good mobility and accuracy." Since February 2022, Sweden has allocated 22 billion kronor (2.16 billion dollars) to support Ukraine, including 17 billion kronor (1.67 billion dollars) in military aid. It is noted that Archer self-propelled howitzers are multi-role Swedish systems with a caliber of 155 mm. These artillery systems feature full automation of the loading process, resulting in an increased rate of fire and a reduced crew size of 3-4 people.
