Israeli Air Force Breaks Sound Barrier Over Several Areas in Lebanon

The National News Agency reported that Israeli warplanes broke the sound barrier at low altitude over Beirut, Khaldeh, Damour, and Jiyyeh, reaching Kesrouan and the Jezzine area. The Israeli army launched illuminating flares overnight until dawn over Lebanese border villages adjacent to the Blue Line, according to the National News Agency. Israeli reconnaissance aircraft flew over the villages of Tyre and Bint Jbeil districts. The Israeli army fired heavy machine guns towards the Al-Labouna and Al-Alam mountains in the western sector. Israeli warplanes conducted an airstrike on the town of Aita al-Shaab at around 11:50 PM.
