Delegation from the Democratic Gathering in Ain al-Tineh: Complete Agreement with Berri

Today, Thursday, Speaker of the House Nabih Berri received a delegation from the Democratic Gathering headed by MP Taymour Jumblatt, in the presence of former minister and MP Ghazi Aridi, as well as MPs Marwan Hamadeh and Wael Abou Faour. After the meeting, Aridi confirmed that "the viewpoints among them and Speaker Nabih Berri were in complete agreement, and that President Berri offered many facilitations and ideas to the envoys," noting that "a positive point was not reached as anticipated, but the movement will not stop." He stated: "When Berri clearly says that he does not have a rupture with any party, and that what applies to the 'duo' applies to everyone, this is in itself a clear stance indicating that he does not want to impose anything on anyone." He added: "We are not in rupture with any party, and efforts complement each other to reach the desired goal."
