Iraq Rejects "Reckless" Actions on Its Soil

Iraq confirmed in a statement today, Tuesday, its rejection of all "reckless actions and practices that target Iraqi bases, diplomatic missions, and places where international coalition advisors are located, as well as anything that would elevate tensions in the region." American officials stated in a press briefing yesterday, Monday, that "at least five American soldiers were injured in an attack on a military base in Iraq, at a time when the Middle East is preparing for a potential new wave of attacks from Iran and its allies following the deaths of senior leaders of Hamas and Hezbollah last week."
