British media reports reveal that the England national team will utilize the "smart ring" worn by reality TV star Kim Kardashian during the Euro 2024 competition starting this Friday in Germany. The Daily Mail reported that England hopes the ring, known as the "Oura Ring," valued at £500, will be their secret weapon in Euro 2024.
The report states that players and the coaching staff have been provided with a state-of-the-art tracking device called "Oura" to wear during their stay in Germany, which monitors sleep, temperature, stress, and heart health. Gareth Southgate, the England coach, was seen wearing the ring on his left index finger while preparing for the tournament earlier in June.
Several players, including Conor Gallagher and Marc Guehi, have also used the ring during training in Germany, alongside coaching staff members, although it is unlikely they will be allowed to wear it during matches. The ring is popular among several celebrities, including Kardashian, Prince Harry, Gwyneth Paltrow, and Jennifer Aniston.
The England team is placed in Group C of the European Championship alongside Serbia, Denmark, and Slovenia.
