The political bureau of the Amal Movement indicated that "in light of the systematic destruction policy against Lebanese border villages, and as a reflection of its army's failure on the confrontation line with the valiant resistance, the ruling gangs in the Zionist entity are pushing matters towards further escalation by attempting to probe the borders through infiltration under the cover of darkness, in order to impose high-pressure conditions on the visit of the American envoy to Beirut to achieve what they have failed to in the field through intimidation and extortion."
The statement added that "Amal Movement affirms that any attempt to assault Lebanese territory will be met by all resistances with the same determination and insistence that confronted the occupation in the South in past years. The spirits of the leaders Mohammad Saad, Khalil Geradi, and their brothers who were martyred in the town of Ma'arat and its sisters, whose memories coincide with today, will remain present at all times and in every arena."
The statement continued: "Thus, the policies of imposition and pressure through fire will not succeed in enforcing political realities regarding our country Lebanon, neither on the borders nor internally. The Lebanese position is clear and manifests in curbing the Zionist aggressiveness, forcing the enemy to withdraw from all our occupied lands without condition, and obliging it to genuinely implement resolution 1701. The issues of the internal Lebanese file must remain a Lebanese affair addressed through dialogue among Lebanese, and those who strive for political solutions must work to stop the ongoing genocide and war crimes and starvation of the people of Gaza, aimed at breaking their legendary steadfastness and resistance that have exposed the incapacity of the Israeli war machine based on its crimes and the collusion of international and regional silence that will not be beautified by scenes of ostentatious drops of supplies for the hungry."
The statement concluded: "The Amal Movement calls, as we approach the month of Ramadan, for a Ramadan observance that restores the spirit of unity, solidarity, dignity, and glory that has been inscribed in this noble month throughout history, so that the feeling of isolation and abandonment of our people in Gaza by their nation may be dispelled."
