Warning of a Heatwave Sweeping Egypt

The Egyptian Meteorological Authority has announced that a severe heatwave will hit Egypt due to the seasonal Indian low-pressure system. The humidity levels in Greater Cairo, the Nile Delta, South Sinai, and southern regions of the country are also expected to rise. In its statement, the meteorological authority indicated that a hot and humid weather will prevail along the northern coasts, while a warm and humid weather is expected at night in most areas, with moderate and humid temperatures on the northern coasts. The statement added that the expected humidity levels during this period will be between 80-85% at night in Cairo and the Nile Delta, while on the northern coasts, the humidity will be 90-95% at night and between 50-55% during the day. For northern Upper Egypt, the humidity will range from 55-60% at night and between 15-20% during the day, while for southern Upper Egypt, it is expected to be 20-25% at night and between 10-15% during the day.
