Israeli media released a video on Saturday evening showing soldiers from the 46th battalion of the Israeli army detonating Martyrs' Square in the center of Rafah city in southern Gaza Strip. The media noted that the demolition of Martyrs' Square (the main square of Rafah city) was carried out by reserve soldiers from Company "A" of the 46th battalion. Humanity, trees, and stones have not escaped from the genocide being committed by the dirty Israeli army in Gaza.
The Israeli army continues its war on the Gaza Strip for the 267th consecutive day with dozens of airstrikes and ongoing artillery shelling, in the midst of a catastrophic humanitarian situation due to the blockade and the displacement of more than 95% of the population.
In recent hours, the Israeli army has intensified its incursions northwest of Rafah city in southern Gaza, amid gunfire and artillery bombardment on the Mawasi area near the incursion location. Military vehicles advanced in the vicinity of "Al-Shakush" area and south of the "Regional Park" northwest of the city, leading to the displacement of thousands of citizens from their tents in the Mawasi area in Rafah to Khan Younis city.
Witnesses reported that Israeli military vehicles shelled the Mawasi area northwest of Rafah city throughout the past hours, resulting in fatalities and injuries among displaced persons in the area.
