Berri to the Informers in World Capitals: You Don't Know Who I Am and

Lebanese Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri addressed the leaders and representatives of parliamentary blocs, stating: "Come in September for dialogue in the parliament for seven days, and afterwards we will hold open sessions to elect a President of the Republic. The presidential election cannot be achieved by imposing a candidate or paralyzing constitutional institutions. Has the call for consensus and dialogue become a crime?"

In his speech during a celebration organized by "Amal Movement" to commemorate the disappearance of Imam Musa Sadr and his companions, he affirmed that they "worked to complete the presidential election, which should have been completed yesterday, today, and tomorrow, before it's too late. Honest discourse is necessary to correct the path of some parties inside, especially the informers." He addressed them directly: "You are mistaken about the title, and you do not know who I am, so 'sew elsewhere'."

Berri stressed that "the presidential election in Lebanon cannot be completed by paralyzing legislative and executive constitutional institutions." He questioned, "Should the Speaker have included the legalization of homosexuality in the agenda of the last session?"

Regarding the Lebanese borders, Berri confirmed that "the Amal Movement, at all levels, is ready, alongside Hezbollah, to repel any Israeli attack and defend the sacred borders."

On the issue of Imam Musa Sadr, Berri reiterated his commitment to it, stating that "any attempt to confuse or divert attention and create narratives that are not based on any truth aims only to mislead the investigation and is a blatant attempt to absolve the criminals." He noted that "the responsibility placed by the Lebanese and Italian judiciary on Gaddafi is the same responsibility we place on Libya if it continues not to cooperate with the Lebanese judiciary, as the case of the Imam will not fade with time."

Berri also addressed the recent events in the Ain al-Hilweh camp, emphasizing that "what happened is heartbreaking; if it continues or recurs, God forbid, it will be like 'daggers in the backs' of the resistors within Palestine. It’s a suspicious act, regardless of who is behind it."

Supporters of the Amal Movement gathered from various regions for the central rally organized by the movement in the Bir Hassan area of Beirut. Those present raised the flags of the Amal Movement and pictures of Speaker Nabih Berri along with images of Sadr.
