The developers of the "Telegram" app have announced the launch of a new update for the app, which brings useful features for many users. With this new update, a digital currency called Telegram Stars has been introduced, allowing users to pay for digital goods and subscription services. Channel owners on the app can use this currency to pay for displaying certain promotional posts that contain images or videos. They can also convert the profits they receive in this currency to the encrypted currency Toncoin.
Users of "Telegram" also received a new multitasking bar with the update, which now appears at the bottom of the interface, displaying applications and tools in a minimized format, making it easy to open or close them without leaving the interface. The update includes a new feature that simplifies the process of searching for posts and stories through keywords attached with the # symbol, known as "hashtags."
With the new update, "Telegram" users can now publish "stories" and attach a geographical location tag to them. When other users click on this tag, they will see posts from other users connected to the same geographical location. Premium service users in the app have also been given new features that facilitate adjusting photo backgrounds in posts and controlling their colors.
