Putin: We Will Eliminate the Forces that Breached the Borders

Russian President Vladimir Putin stated during a security meeting regarding the Ukrainian attack, "It is necessary to eliminate the forces that breached the borders." He noted, "What is happening in the areas adjacent to Ukraine will be assessed, but the main task now is to eliminate the enemy." He added, "A reliable cover for the border with Ukraine must be ensured after expelling the enemy from our territories." Putin observed that "Ukraine is trying to undermine stability and intimidate the Russian people," pointing out that "Ukraine is seeking to improve its negotiating position and slow down our advance in other areas of the front."
