Lebanese champion Leticia Aoun lost to her Iranian competitor in the semi-final round, where she will compete in a playoff match for the bronze medal. Leticia Aoun had previously defeated Macedonian Miljana Rileki with a score of two sets to none in the quarter-finals of the taekwondo competition at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, qualifying her for the semi-finals.
