"Terrifying Experience": British Plane Forgets a Disabled Passenger on the Runway!

A British EasyJet plane forgot Irish writer Liz Ware, who uses a wheelchair, on the runway during takeoff and flew without her. Ware had a harrowing experience when the plane's door closed while she was still on the runway, as she was traveling with a wheelchair due to heart conditions. She was en route from Northern Ireland to Edinburgh, Scotland, on a short flight that lasts only 30 minutes.

The incident occurred when airport staff brought Ware and another passenger in a wheelchair to the plane's runway in preparation for boarding. However, as the rest of the passengers boarded, the doors were closed, and the boarding stairs were moved away. Ware and the airport staff tried to get the pilot's attention, but to no avail. She stated that she and the staff waved and shouted to attract the pilot's attention, adding, "I've never heard of anything like this in my life."

Ware had to wait the rest of the day at the airport to rebook her flight on another plane, arriving in Edinburgh at 10 PM, after the time of the event she traveled to attend.
