9 New Records and 190 Colorful Medals... "Pro Swim - Al-Najah" Swimmers Shine in the Lebanese Championship

9 New Records and 190 Colorful Medals...

Swimmers from the "Pro Swim" Academy have established themselves as a formidable force in Lebanon's swimming championships, most recently at the Winter Lebanon Championship for age categories held in a 25-meter pool, organized by the Lebanese Federation at the Al-Jamhour Club. They achieved 9 new records and won 190 colorful medals, representing the largest share by a wide margin over other competitors.

With a record participation from swimmers belonging to 22 federated clubs, "Pro Swim" athletes, representing Al-Najah Club - Beirut, stole the spotlight by setting 9 records: 5 in individual events and 4 in relay races, as follows:

- **Tia Obaid**: Achieved 3 records in the 50m, 100m, and 200m breaststroke (14-15 age category), breaking both the overall record in the 50m and 100m, as well as her age category records.

- **Maria Saba**: Set 2 records in the 50m and 100m backstroke (12-13 age category).

All relay records were set in the 4x50m events as follows:

- **Mixed 16-17 age category**: Samir Ghatiss, Adam Habash, Lana Hijazi, and Jumana Darzi.

- **Mixed 12-13 age category**: Ghassan Zain, Omar Sanno, Maria Saba, and Yasmina Al-Haj Ali.

- **Girls 12-13 age category**: Ilina Shaaban, Tia Amhaz, Maria Saba, and Yasmina Al-Haj Ali.

- **Girls 14-15 age category**: Liran Dubai, Sky Aoun, Naya Yazbek, and Tia Obaid.

The technical and administrative team overseeing the preparation of the swimmers for local and international competitions comprised national coach and technical director Mohammad Saqr (Director of Pro Swim Academy), coaches Abd Ghatiss and Saif Morgan, physical therapist Charbel Al-Haj (from Rafeef Club), physical trainers Eli Hanim and Abdullah Malik, and administrative director Hussein Nour Al-Din.

Saqr extended his deepest gratitude to the swimmers' families for their continuous support and engagement with their children in the absence of any other support.
