Former U.S. President Jimmy Carter, who is 99 years old and the oldest living president, expressed hope to vote for Kamala Harris in the upcoming November elections, according to his grandson who spoke to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution (AJC). The former president told his son Chip earlier this week: "I'm just trying to do that and vote for Kamala Harris," as mentioned by Carter's grandson, Jason Carter, to the AJC. Jimmy Carter will celebrate his 100th birthday on October 1. CNN previously reported that he entered a nursing home in February 2023 after several hospital stays.
