The Israeli Chief of Staff, Herzi Halevi, stated that "Hamas should know that every day they hold the hostages will be more bitter for them than the previous day." He added, "We will know how to stay in the Philadelphia axis and how to go in and come out, and we will intensify our operations until the hostages return."
