Israeli Minister: The Need to Accelerate the Construction of a Barrier with Jordan

Israeli Foreign Minister Israel Katz emphasized the "necessity to expedite the construction of the eastern barrier along the border with Jordan to prevent the smuggling of weapons into Israel." He stated, "The Iranian Revolutionary Guards are collaborating with Hamas operatives in Lebanon to smuggle weapons and funds to Jordan to destabilize the regime." Additionally, he noted, "The evil Iranian axis controls the refugee camps in the West Bank, which renders the Palestinian Authority unable to act," pointing out that "we must take terrorist centers like the Jenin refugee camp and conduct a comprehensive campaign to dismantle the infrastructure of terrorism there."
