Former White House Doctor Reveals "Worrisome" Decline in Biden's Health

Former White House Doctor Reveals

As the competition intensifies a year before the U.S. elections, discussions continue regarding President Joe Biden’s age and his fitness to run in the upcoming race. Republican Representative from Texas Ronny Jackson, a former White House doctor, stated that Biden’s age and cognitive decline are concerning reasons. In an interview with Fox News, he said, "The decline in Biden is happening rapidly. As I mentioned, I have cared for three presidents, so I know firsthand what it takes to be the Commander-in-Chief and head of state. It is an exhausting task, mentally and physically; this man cannot handle it."

Jackson worked as a physician during the administrations of George Bush, Barack Obama, and Donald Trump. He has previously raised alarms about Biden’s cognitive sharpness and even called for a cognitive test for him or for him to withdraw from the 2024 election race. He continued, "It is unbelievable how much he has declined during his time in office. We cannot afford to have this man remain in office for the remainder of this term and then for another four years after that. He poses a significant risk to us right now."

The 81-year-old president typically avoids the subject of age but addressed it during a fundraising campaign at a Broadway theater in New York months ago, explaining that his experience has helped him cope with crises like the war in Ukraine and the COVID pandemic. Earlier, Trump, who is 77 and would become the oldest elected American president if he wins next year, stated that "Biden is not really that far advanced in age," but noted that the bigger issue is that he is "inept."
