Al-Baghdadi: The Prisoner Issue and the Resilience of the Resistance Have Increased the Plight of the Entity

Member of the Central Council of "Hezbollah," Sheikh Hassan Al-Baghdadi, stated that "the discussion about the idea that Israel wants to launch a war on Lebanon is a heavy joke. Israel, which was defeated in May 2000, stumbled in the July 2006 aggression, and failed in its war against civilians in the besieged Gaza Strip, how could its leaders, burdened with defeats and utter failures, think of waging a war with Hezbollah? If it could, it would not hesitate for a moment, especially with the absolute American support it has, and the presence of supporters and those who are silent and compliant. However, its fear of the resistance has prevented it from going to war."

He added during a political meeting in the hall of Sheikh Ali Al-Baghdadi in Southern Ansar, "For the first time, the resistance fighters, the peoples, and stances from countries that were not expected to participate are joining this battle, at a time when Israel feels this unease resulting from a real resistance, which has a sovereign decision based on its youth and the people of the resistance. Everyone feels dignity and victory, which enabled them to endure all these difficulties and profound losses, while the defeat and sadness were evident on the enemy leaders along with America and its allies, whose defeat has troubled their nights, leading them to resume aggression on the Gaza Strip."

He concluded, "The achievement in the prisoners' file, led by Hamas with much awareness, patience, and wisdom, alongside the steadfastness of the resistance fighters, has left the leaders of this temporary entity in a state of confusion. There are no longer hopes for its permanence despite all this support, as the enemy's leaders have accomplished nothing but more killing of children, women, and unarmed men, in addition to the destruction of homes, religious centers, and health facilities, which has further worsened the entity's destructive crisis."
