A tense and anticipatory atmosphere prevails in Ain al-Hilweh camp coinciding with a Palestinian meeting at the embassy where a report regarding recent incidents will be presented. According to information, the "Fatah" movement has requested military personnel to head to the posts and offices, while some areas within the camp are witnessing significant displacement movements due to fears of renewed military confrontations, particularly given the reluctance to hand over those involved in recent incidents.
On Tuesday, the Palestinian Working Group in Lebanon held a meeting at the Embassy of the State of Palestine in Lebanon to monitor the security and social conditions in Ain al-Hilweh camp. It was agreed that the follow-up mechanisms would begin with the handover of suspects involved in the assassination and anyone implicated in the investigations to the Lebanese judiciary. The attendees affirmed their "commitment to ensuring security, safety, and dignified living conditions for our people in Ain al-Hilweh camp and the neighboring Lebanese community."
