A Spanish news report has discussed the situation of young player Lamine Yamal regarding his participation against Valencia tomorrow, Saturday, in the opening match of La Liga. According to the newspaper "Mundo Deportivo," Yamal was deeply shocked upon learning that his father, Munir Nasrawi, had been stabbed. Some local residents reported that Nasrawi was insulted by individuals while walking his dog, which led to the altercation resulting in the stabbing.
On Thursday, the Barcelona star trained normally at the sports city in preparation for the start of the Spanish league against Valencia. Sources from the Barça locker room indicate that Lamine Yamal is fine and is handling the situation with calmness and resilience despite its seriousness and his young age (17 years).
The report noted that Lamine Yamal will be available to join coach Hans Flick’s squad unless unexpected developments occur before traveling. The young player is included in Flick's plan, although he might start the match against the bats from the bench at Mestalla.
