Ukraine Shoots Down Two Missiles and Four Russian Drones

The Ukrainian Air Force announced today, Thursday, that it shot down two out of four missiles and all four drones launched by Russia during last night's attack. According to the Air Force report, Russia fired two "Kh-59" missiles, which were successfully intercepted, along with two ballistic "Iskander-M" missiles. The military clarified that the "Iskander" missiles targeted the Kharkiv area in northeastern Ukraine. Governor Oleksandr Syniehubov had not provided a report on the consequences of the attack by Thursday morning. Dnipropetrovsk Governor Serhiy Lysak stated that air defenses destroyed one missile over the region in central Ukraine. He added that a 12-year-old child was injured and two houses were damaged following several Russian attacks last night. Kirovohrad Governor Andriy Raikovich reported that no damage was reported after air defenses were activated in the central region.
