Air France and Transavia plan to resume their flights to Beirut on Thursday after suspending them since July 29 due to the geopolitical situation in Lebanon, according to a spokesperson for the airlines. In a press release from Air France, it stated: "At this stage, subject to developments in the security situation at the final destination, the company intends to resume its flights between Paris Charles de Gaulle and Beirut, suspended since July 29, 2024, starting from Thursday, August 15, 2024." The spokesperson confirmed that "the decision also applies to Transavia France."
