Italian club AC Milan has completed the signing of Álvaro Morata, the captain of the Spanish national team, who recently won the Euro 2024 title. Transfer market expert Fabrizio Romano confirmed that Morata has signed a contract with Milan for four seasons, lasting until the summer of 2028. Romano also explained that the agreement includes an option for an additional season. He noted that the deal was officially finalized when Milan activated the release clause in Morata's contract with Atlético Madrid, valued at 13 million euros.
Milan will be Morata's second stop in Serie A, after previously donning the jersey of Juventus. Morata has also played for Real Madrid, Atlético Madrid, and Chelsea.
