German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock is heading to the Middle East next week, Berlin announced today, Friday. Baerbock will go to Israel on Monday directly after a meeting of EU foreign ministers in Luxembourg. Upon her arrival in Israel, Baerbock, who has visited the region several times since the outbreak of the war between Israel and Hamas, will deliver a speech at the Herzliya Security Conference. On Tuesday, she will hold talks with Palestinian Prime Minister Mohammad Mustafa in Ramallah in the West Bank. Baerbock will also meet her Israeli counterpart Yisrael Katz in occupied Jerusalem. She will then head to Lebanon for talks with officials in Beirut.
