Weather Forecast: Tomorrow Will Be Partly Cloudy with Temperatures Returning to Seasonal Levels

The Department of Estimates at the Directorate General of Civil Aviation predicts that tomorrow's weather will be partly cloudy to cloudy with the formation of fog in elevated areas, and an increase in temperatures, especially in mountainous and interior regions, returning to seasonal averages.

The report stated the following:

- General Situation: A changeable and relatively cool weather system is dominating Lebanon and the eastern Mediterranean basin with temperatures below their seasonal averages on Thursday, then stabilizing starting Friday with a gradual increase in temperatures that will exceed seasonal averages until the weekend, after which they will decrease on Sunday afternoon with the approach of a low-pressure system centered over Turkey. The weather will gradually turn rainy in the evening, with heavy rainfall expected on Sunday night into Monday morning, accompanied by thunder and lightning and winds reaching speeds of up to 65 km/h.

- The average temperature for March is between 13 and 21.7 degrees.

- Expected Weather in Lebanon:

Thursday: Partly to mostly cloudy with fog in elevated areas and no significant change in temperatures, with a chance of light scattered rain, especially in the southern regions.

Friday: Partly cloudy to mostly cloudy with fog in elevated areas and an increase in temperatures, particularly in the mountainous and interior regions, returning to seasonal averages.

Saturday: Partly cloudy turning to cloudy with high clouds in the afternoon, accompanied by a noticeable and additional rise in temperatures above seasonal averages and a decrease in humidity; winds will become active in the evening.

Sunday: Partly cloudy with high clouds during the day and fog in elevated areas, with temperatures remaining high; winds will be active, and temperatures will gradually decrease starting in the afternoon, with an increase in humidity. The weather will turn cloudy in the evening with the low-pressure system approaching from Turkey, leading to an increase in wind speeds up to about 65 km/h, setting the stage for scattered rains that will intensify before dawn on Monday, particularly in northern areas, accompanied by thunder and lightning.

- Coastal temperatures will range from 14 to 20 degrees, in the mountains from 8 to 15 degrees, and inland from 6 to 20 degrees.

- Surface winds: Southwesterly during the day, southeasterly at night, with speeds between 10 and 30 km/h.

- Visibility: Good, worsening in elevated areas due to fog.

- Relative humidity on the coast: Between 60 and 80%.

- Sea state: Medium wave height, surface water temperature: 18 degrees.

- Atmospheric pressure: 764 mm of mercury.
