"Strategic Decision" by the Houthis

The leader of the Yemeni "Ansar Allah" movement, Abdel Malek al-Houthi, stated that "the American naval deployments and the arrival of aircraft to American bases in Arab countries cannot cancel the decision to respond." He emphasized that "responding to the enemy is a strategic decision and a necessity to deter the criminal, vile, and audacious Israeli enemy that commits atrocities." Al-Houthi stressed that "the decision to respond from the axis of Jerusalem, jihad, and resistance against the crimes of the enemy is essential," saying, "The response to the enemy is coming, and the decision is final and will not be retracted; it is a moral and human ethical commitment." He noted that "the Americans are making every effort to contain the response through political measures, including discussions about dialogue and negotiations, and warning of the repercussions." Al-Houthi pointed out that "the Zionist fear and anxiety regarding Hezbollah's response are significant."
