Riad: The Country Must Not Be Left Vacant

The head of the "Loyalty to the Resistance" bloc, MP Mohammad Riad, sponsored the annual celebration organized by Al-Mahdi Schools in the town of Al-Sharqiya, marking the graduation of students who succeeded in the official exams, in the presence of various figures and families of the honorees.

In his speech, he stated: "In our country, we are experiencing a crisis from which we are trying to leap to possible solutions at this very moment. We are attempting to form a government towards the end of this term because the country must not be left in a vacuum, and a caretaker government is insufficient to manage the affairs of the country. We continue to strive and will, God willing, succeed in forming a fully qualified government that meets the requirements for managing our country and prepares for the presidential election, for which we have commenced the first session, and we will continue, God willing, until we elect a new president in Lebanon."

He continued: "We are facing an enemy that recognizes no one else in this world; we have seized it by the neck when we noticed its need to invest in gas, and we wanted to advance our rights that are overlooked by this enemy. We compelled it to respond and think about recognizing our rights. Now, we have made significant progress, and we support the Lebanese stance to reclaim our right in demarcating our maritime borders and to invest in our gas, which belongs to our generations and our children."

He added: "We are confident that matters will conclude favorably thanks to our presence and the readiness of our resistance, alongside our firm stance that will not tolerate any encroachment on our rights in our territorial waters, our resources, and our sovereignty."

He remarked: "What we cannot reclaim today, we will recover in the coming days, and the enemy realizes this; hence, it acts in ways that do not give us the opportunity to deliver slaps back-to-back. We are confident in our position, and were it not for the readiness of our resistance and its determination against the enemy, the enemy would not have initiated negotiations through its intermediaries to address this problem based on recognizing our rights and reclaiming these rights from the hands of the contemptible Zionist enemy."

He noted that "the war will remain a back-and-forth struggle with this enemy, with phases and steps aimed at achieving our security, sovereignty, and stability, without allowing the enemy any opportunity to feast on our body, strengthen itself against us, or attempt to extort us in any matter."

He concluded: "Regarding the economic situation, we are taking steps to establish some proposals and practical measures that greatly alleviate the burdens on our people, whether during the winter season or throughout the current academic year. We all hope that the state's institutions will stabilize and resume their work after the many difficult years this administration has faced, which disrupted many citizens' interests."
