# We Are Facing Decisive Hours: What Nasrallah Announced

The Secretary-General of Hezbollah, Sayyid Hassan Nasrallah, appeared during the central festival organized by Hezbollah in celebration of the Prophet's birthday and the Week of Islamic Unity, held at Ashoura Square in the southern suburbs of Beirut, addressing several local and regional issues. He pointed out that "there is nothing new regarding the presidential issue; as for the government matter, there is a 'cold initiative and a hot initiative,' and we must not despair. We call upon all parties concerned to form the government in the available time."

Regarding the demarcation issue, he stated: "We are facing decisive hours in the maritime border demarcation file, and the one responsible for announcing the Lebanese position is His Excellency President Michel Aoun after consultation with the Speaker of the Parliament and the Prime Minister, and we await the official announcement from His Excellency." He continued, "We are waiting for the official stance from the enemy's government, although the Prime Minister has announced his agreement; the government's agreement remains, and for us, we will wait for the moment the delegations go to Naqoura to sign according to a specific mechanism—only then can we say that the agreement has been reached."

He added, "For us as a resistance, what matters is the Lebanese stance, and we stand by the state. What is important to us is what the Lebanese officials say, which is that this agreement meets the Lebanese demands. In Lebanon, there are people who accuse, insult, and oppose the agreement and the wasting of resources. I advise them to wait for the final document, and at that time, they can object, but with a national and objective spirit, not out of a desire for revenge."

He continued: "Some accused us of wasting rights and conceding lines; we have nothing to do with the demarcation. If you ask me where our sea is, I would say our sea extends to Gaza. And also to those who are happy with the agreement, who are the vast majority, you should celebrate with an objective and national spirit. No one alone is responsible for the achievement."

He added: "Today we are in front of an excellent experience in Lebanon where the presidents cooperate despite their differences. It was an experience where officials in the state collaborated, and there was a great embrace from the environment supporting the resistance, which would have gone towards difficult choices. The resistance stood by the state and its heroes over the past days and months, and the enemy feared this war more than the Lebanese did."

He indicated that with official and national solidarity, alongside the state, resistance, people, and army in such a difficult position amid regional and international conditions where no one on Earth is asking about Lebanon, Lebanon can achieve this great accomplishment.

He added: "I must mention the resistance fighters; throughout this entire phase after the topic of drones, we did not need to send any drones or naval units because the goal from the beginning was to make the enemy understand that the resistance is serious in what it said. There are many actions the resistance undertook that the Israelis saw, understood, and heard about, but people didn't witness them through some activities that delivered this message. The brothers worked in the past months, day and night, so we would be ready to implement the work and respond to the enemy's reactions and what is beyond that, with efforts of years executed in days."

Nasrallah addressed the resistance leaders: "You will remain on your readiness and watchfulness until the agreement is signed, and after the agreement, there will be another day."

He added: "I know that discussions have begun in the specialized committees about proposals regarding the suggestion to establish a sovereign fund, and we must benefit from the experiences of other countries; these are human sciences. We must discuss this seriously and with a national and responsible spirit. This matter should be approached as a national wealth that belongs to no sect, party, or specific area, and every gas that emerges from any spot in Lebanon is the property of Lebanon."
