The former Qatari Prime Minister, Sheikh Hamad bin Jassim, believes that Iran's military response to Israel will not yield any results in the current phase and circumstances. Bin Jassim explained on "X" that such a response from Iran will not achieve any satisfactory outcomes in reality, other than serving the escalatory actions of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his extremist government's policies aimed at extending his stay in power. He added in his post that "Iran should call for an immediate and permanent ceasefire and the return of displaced persons in Gaza to all their areas, as well as the exchange of prisoners." He further stated: "This is my personal opinion, and I know that many will attack me for it, but I believe that if Ismail Haniyeh were alive today, he would wish for a permanent ceasefire under the aforementioned conditions to stop the bloodshed of Palestinians and the brutal genocidal crimes against them."
