# Spain's Major Jump in FIFA Rankings

The Spanish national team has made a significant leap in the FIFA World Rankings released today, Thursday. Spain, recently the winner of the UEFA Euro 2024, has climbed five spots to reach third in the monthly ranking. Argentina, the winner of the Copa America for the second consecutive time, remains at the top of the ranking, while France retains the second position despite being eliminated in the Euro semifinals. England, the Euro runner-up, has moved up one spot to fourth, while Brazil has fallen one position to fifth after being eliminated in the Copa America Round of 16. Belgium dropped three places to sixth, the Netherlands stayed in seventh, and Portugal slipped to eighth.

Colombia, the Copa America runner-up, has entered the elite group by advancing three spots to ninth in the ranking, while Italy remains in the tenth position.

On the other hand, the Arab teams experienced slight changes, with Morocco dropping two places from 12th to 14th globally, still the top-ranked Arab team. Qatar maintained its second position despite falling from 34th to 35th globally, while Egypt kept its third position among Arab teams, ranking 36th globally. Tunisia remained fourth at 41st globally, Algeria advanced to 44th, Iraq is sixth at 55th, Saudi Arabia is seventh at 56th, and Jordan is eighth at 68th.
