Title: Arrest of 3 Individuals in Hourtala - Bekaa

The Army Command - Directorate of Guidance announced that "on 9/8/2024, a unit of the army, supported by a patrol from the Directorate of Intelligence, raided the homes of wanted individuals in the town of Hourtala - Bekaa and arrested the citizen (W.M.) for firing a weapon, and the Syrians (B.A.) and (M.H.) for illegally residing in Lebanese territory. The first individual was in contact with a large number of wanted persons, while the second was working in tents for marijuana cultivation on behalf of one of the wanted individuals. The unit destroyed 3 of those tents. Additionally, weapons and ammunition were seized, along with a quantity of drugs and two illegal vehicles." The seized items were handed over, and investigations with the detainees were initiated under the supervision of the relevant judiciary.
