Israeli Readiness for Ground Operation in Lebanon?

Israeli broadcasting authority reported that Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant informed his American counterpart, Lloyd Austin, of the military's serious readiness to launch a ground operation in Lebanon. The Israeli Defense Minister stated, "It is possible to transition to war with Hezbollah quickly and unexpectedly." It was also noted that Israel demands commitments from Washington that it has the right to respond to any violation by Hezbollah in the event of a comprehensive agreement between Israel and Lebanon.
