The Israeli army announced that it "targeted military infrastructure of Hezbollah in Aita al-Shaab, Kfar Shuba, and Hula, as well as areas in southern Lebanon." Israeli drones of the type Hermes 900 flew at medium altitude over the western and central sectors, particularly above the villages of Sarafa, Faroun, Majdel Silim, extending to the skies of Al-Khiam, Marjayoun, Bint Jbeil, Aita al-Shaab, Maroun al-Ras, and Aytaroun. The "Islamic Resistance" announced in a statement that it launched "an airstrike with a swarm of attack drones on the Monastery site, targeting its equipment and the soldiers' positions within it, hitting them directly and destroying one of its technical systems."
