The Hebrew media cited a report from the "Wall Street Journal," which stated that Egypt is considering diplomatic reductions with Israel due to the military actions in Rafah, and among other things, Cairo is contemplating the possibility of recalling its ambassador from Tel Aviv.
A source in Egypt mentioned in the American newspaper report: "As of now, there are no plans to suspend relations with Israel or destroy Camp David, but as long as Israeli forces remain at the Rafah crossing, Egypt will not send a single truck to the Gaza Strip." Meanwhile, Egypt announced this week that it will join and support the lawsuit filed by South Africa against Israel in The Hague following Israel's recent actions in Rafah.
