The Egyptian Meteorological Authority warned today, Saturday, of heavy rainfall in 9 areas that could reach the level of floods, while other parts of the country are experiencing a significant rise in temperatures. The weather maps stated in a post on "Facebook" that the areas expected to see rainfall are Halayeb, Shalateen, Qena, Ras Banas, Marsa Alam, Abu Simbel, Aswan, New Valley, and Luxor. The statement warned of the formation of fog in the morning on some agricultural and main roads, especially near water bodies, and noted that winds will be moderate, occasionally becoming active on the northwestern coasts and raising dust and sand in areas of southern Upper Egypt and southern Red Sea chains intermittently.
