Sisi Approves Grant from the World Bank

The official gazette in Egypt published a decision today, Thursday, from President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi regarding the approval of a grant agreement from the World Bank amounting to $9.130 million. The decision stated in Article One that the grant agreement aimed at improving electronic waste management and healthcare waste disposal to reduce unintentional emissions of persistent organic pollutants was approved, with the condition of ratification.

Additionally, the official gazette previously published two decisions from Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly regarding the allocation of two plots of land donated by Ashraf Boulos and Yahya Samhan for public benefit projects. The Prime Minister approved the allocation of a plot of land from state-owned properties, donated by citizen Ashraf Boulos Ibrahim Boulos, with an area of 750 square meters located in the village of Bani Ahmed East, affiliated with the local unit of the Minya Center and City in Minya Governorate, according to the attached map and coordinates, for the establishment of a sewage lifting station by the National Authority for Drinking Water and Sanitation.
