Live on Air: Exchange Between Blogger and Tunisian Host Ends in Ejection

Tunisian host Omayma Ayari expelled popular blogger Mariam Debbagh live on air, refusing to continue their conversation after a verbal altercation during a program on Radio "Diwan FM." During their dialogue, Debbagh accused the host of "insulting her intelligence" during the "O, star" program. The social media influencer objected to the nature of the questions asked, which angered the host, who retorted, "You are not the one to teach me what to ask; I could give you lessons in journalism." Debbagh replied, "I did not come here to teach," prompting the host to cut the conversation, asking to take a break to listen to advertisements.

The host apologized to listeners for what she deemed "unwarranted tension" from the celebrity, asserting that she had crossed the line by using "shameful phrases aimed at achieving media sensationalism." The host stated, "Unfortunately, I will not continue the conversation with her; she refused, and we will continue listening to music until the program ends." Followers reacted to the incident, "criticizing" the social media star's style and her way of engaging with the host, as well as her objections to the questions.

The audience attacked Mariam Debbagh's behavior in comments, considering the host's questions to be logical, while the latter "wanted to provoke controversy and draw attention inappropriately." Later, blogger Mariam Debbagh criticized host Omayma Ayari in a video clip, stating, "I teach lessons in everything," in response to the host's remark in the program: "You are not the one to teach me what to ask; I could give you lessons in journalism."
