Israeli warplanes conducted strikes in two waves targeting the area around the Maroun al-Ras park, dropping four air-to-ground missiles on the targeted area. Later, the National News Agency reported a third Israeli raid on Maroun al-Ras. The Israeli military stated, "We targeted military positions of Hezbollah in Maroun al-Ras, Aita al-Shaab, and Houla."
Hezbollah announced that "its fighters targeted the monastery site with artillery shells at 06:00 PM today, hitting it directly." They added, "In response to the aggressions of the Israeli enemy against the steadfast southern villages and secure homes, particularly in the town of Houla," the party also targeted "a building used by Israeli enemy soldiers in the settlement of Al-Manara with appropriate weapons."
Furthermore, in response to attacks on the town of Kafr Houneh, the party stated it shelled the settlement of Hagoshrim today with a volley of Katyusha rockets. In response to the assaults in the towns of Barashit and Kafr Houneh (the attack that led to the destruction of the farm), Hezbollah shelled the settlement of Yesod HaMa'aleh with a volley of Katyusha rockets at 08:15 PM today.
Additionally, Hezbollah announced that "in response to the aggressions on the steadfast southern villages and secure homes, particularly in the town of Houla, targeted an Israeli army position in the settlement of Metula with direct fire at 08:40 PM today."
In this context, the Israeli Broadcasting Authority reported the launch of approximately ten rockets from Lebanon towards Kiryat Shmona in northern Israel, some of which were intercepted. They noted direct hits on one of the homes and damage to farmland due to the rocket fire on Kiryat Shmona. It was also reported that sirens were sounding in the settlement of Yesod HaMa'alot in the Upper Galilee due to suspected rocket launches from Lebanon. The launch of rockets from the south was accompanied by the explosion of intercepting missiles in the skies over the border villages.
